Old school Robot Wars was better. Instead of just beating the shit out of each other, the robots had to be capable of passing through a few obstacle courses. Plus they had the utterly badass "house robots" who during the battle would swoop in to fuck up the robots. I know there was a US version with a wrestler or something hosting, but i'm talking about the one form the UK with Lister as the host.
