Alone in a Spooky Old House

I like it because I can now brave perrils with greater confidence, but I would rather I not be completely alone. My grandmother owns this house, but she lives many miles away and just lets her offscpring use it.
You see, I am a nearly 20-year old man, and even though I know there is nothing creepy about it, I still get spooked. Especially the first time I heard that damn tree that scrapes the window next to my computer. I chopped that branch immiediatly that night.
So this is nothing like your childhood "afraid of the dark" memories.

And Marylin, just shut up. You don't have to one-up everything that has to do with being dark and terrible. I sometimes have trouble getting girls to come in because they are too scared to enter, you woulden't do much better.
