Did anyone read the old Disney comics? The ones that were actually published by "Disney Comics" and had DuckTales and Rescue Rangers and stuff like that, not just comics based on Disney properties. I enjoyed those a lot. However, I might just be a loser and stuff. Or both.

Hey, anybody with ROB as their avatar has some good points. Hell, I used to collect the Archie TMNT comics until I finally gave up and spent the two dollars every month on Silver Surfer and Annuals.

I've always heard that Lucas and Spielberg were big fans of those comics, and used alot of ideas they got from them in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

They should release Don Rosa collections. Like those Barks collections.

I would like to see a collection of the comics they based the "DuckTales" series off of. I was surprised to see how many episodes were basically adaptions of old Uncle Scrooge comics.

I think every DuckTales episode that borrowed old stories took them from Barks. And there are a lot of Barks collections out there. At least there are in Norway.

Don Rosa once wanted to write a Scrooge story where Ducktales was an unauthorized tv series based on Scrooge's life, and Scrooge would get all pissy about it.

I wouldn't doubt that every "DuckTales" episode was based on a old Scrooge story. Don Rosa's story idea would have been great to read.
