Thanks all. Actually, I don't listen to rap much. I heard that missy elliot song in a cab, and the last one was something my wife reported to me.
The last rap I liked enough to buy was "Fear of a Black Planet", Public Enemy, and that may have been before some of you were even born.
Rap Music was, in fact, the first sign that I was getting old and Cranky. I didn't (and for the most part don't) get it, and I can't understand most of the lyrics. It reminds me of my grandparents wanting to know how I could possibly find Monty Python (which I watched in it's first American Broadcast) funny when you couldn't understand a single word they said.
Chuck D I ennunciated nicely for me. Since than, not so much.
