The place we practice at every week is fucking great - you pay $8 CDN per hour and you get access to a sound-proofed room complete with PA, mics/stands, 2 guitar amps, 1 bass amp, and a drum kit. It's fantastic because you're allowed to drink and smoke too. There is also a $10/hr room that has a couch.
