I think Lieberman should hlt his bid for the Presidency, but not becuase of any of that. I think he needs to stake out some policies that differ from W's.

Nald. I totally miss how the article you quoted relates to the title of your thread. The Democrats are a wide party with lots of different strands. The Republicans have a few too, just not as many, and their brutally dominated by their right wing. But just because say William Weld, John Mccain and W. hold different policies, I wouldn't think that meant the party lacked concistancy. Oh! Oh! Wait, I know! Weld and Mccain AREN'T 'Real Republicans'! Okay, sorry. W Buchaanan, and Robertson then.
