The trick is all in how you open the packaging. Use a razor knife to remove the circular tape seals on the ends of the box so that none of the ink sticks to it. Second, use the razor to separate the seams of the shrink wrap on the actual CD. Don't cut the plastic, just pull the overlaping portions apart so you can glue them later.
Another trick that I havent done yet is to tape a small piece of gift wrap somewhere on the box and then if you get any static from the cashier, just say "I don't even have a computer, I bouth this for my nephews birthday but my sister got him the same thing.". This will draw attention away from the fact that your trying to rip them off.
