The only useful information I've ever learned from a video game, was from America's Army (developed and produced by the U.S. Army, funded by tax-payers). Really a pretty graphic and violent game, but no one blames them, right?

Oh yeah, and Pitfall taught me how to avoid scorpions and jump on crocodile heads. Very useful.
