first of all, ARTIST'S RENDITION.

The jet pack is obviously not going to get in the way of the sharks flight, unless there is some mishap.

Secondly, although Rog mentioned gators, crocs tire easily as well. Which means the croc would be better off with a jetpack himself. the amount of energy he would waste just getting his massive 15 foot long frame off of the ground would make him to weak to even flail at the ever-patient, circling, perfect-killing machine that is the flying shark.

chain-mail armor might be useful against say a tiger shark or something... but if we're going by the pictures, that looks like a great white to me... let's see that lady smear some chum on her arm and hold it in front of a great white and we'll see what happens.
