If you answered A, you are CORRECT! If Austria never had mandatory military service, he wouldn't of run to Germany. He would of been in Austria at the start of WW1. Even if he would of requested transfer to a German Troop, he would not of been in the same place, same time, same unit. Historic events would never of happened the same way.
The entire history of the world of changed.
Hitler was a catalyst. That is all. He set everything off. A catalyst that grew up in Austria, which imprinted the local ideals into his twisted head. If he grew up on the northern Germany, right next to the boarder to Denmark, his beliefs would of been totally different. He might of been a fisherman. A German spawned Fisherman. But no, he was an Austrian Spawned Dictator.
