That's in Oklahoma, right?
I saw a History Channel documentary that sort of implied that, since Edison was influential from some of his previous successful patents, that he was able to cop some inventions and patents that Tesla already had in the works. He was also known to bad mouth some of Tesla's in the press because of his influence (Re: AC/DC power at Niagra Falls).
