last night john doe called me a genius, kissed me on the cheek and signed my cd "to karen, stay pretty."
the show was very nice. not at all what i expected. it was very intimate and all acoustic. he played a ton of songs off his new record 'dim stars, bright sky' and he played about 6 "X" songs. i almost cried when he played 'white girl' and he finished the set with 'wreckin ball' which is a fun down home country song about stomping chickens.
i love this man soooooo much. if you want to see a legend, this is the man to see. plus he's handsome
