I actually wouldn't mind them keeping the weapon system the same, as long as the controls are a bit smoother. Jumping needs to be a smooth action, and hand-to-hand fighting needs to be less blocky. I noticed that performing some actions can be a little tedious, like if you want to jump on the back of a speeding car, or shoot at something off-screen or out of your view.
