i'm back

i am doing OK. but i really dont want to think i am doing OK cause for the last year or so every time i thought that things would just get worse.

glowbelly, kids and such could not be better. every one of them carried an A average (pretty much, zoe and tuesday both got C's in math. Zoe's due to lack of effort--her thought on the matter--and tuesday because her math teacher had absolutely no sense of humor and HATED tuesday--my observation after a very drawn out conversation with the hateful bitch) and so far this summer are all just being lazy pigs.

Nancy is managing a bar in the local area, a very nice place, and even though she hates having her free time absorbed she makes me glad that i did not hit her over the head with a hammer during the less fun periods of the year. at the moment i could not imagine us getting along better.

i am currently working overnights at Wal-Mart. sorta crappy for my age and experience, but it is only so i can go back to college and make it so that i NEVER have to be in charge of anyone but myself ever again (although WM wants me to become an assistant manager after i finish my 90 day trial period). i am also helping to cut down every tree in the state of maryland in my new part time career with a tree service (and on a fairly cool note we will be heading out to a satellite dish a huge one at that--to start my training in repelling this weekend).

AND. through a few amazing turns of events i am now in the process of acting/directing and writing a movie. it is going to be a super cheap independent thing, but the FX guys are amazing, so it should be interesting to see how it all turns out. we start shooting in about three weeks.

here is a story to sum up how my life has been for awhile now:

Tuesday was visiting with her reading buddy at school. this is a program where they take older kids who read well and pair them up with little potato heads in lower grades to help the younger kids improve their reading skills. while visiting her buddy, Tuesday tripped and fell on the paper mache sculpture that was a big class project for her reading buddy's class. it was destroyed completely. the kindergarteners hated her for not only destroying their project, but because she laughed about it.
