The Speilberg took a lot of creative liberty in that film. In the book Muldoon Doesn't die. Hammond gets eaten by compys. Gennaro (the lawyer Doesn't die) There are 8 Raptos and I think two get killed by Muldoon with an RPG and theres lots more.
But Its probably the best Book to movie ever made. The JP3 could have had a plot. The begining parts felt like a Faster paced rehash of the first movie
