I believe that a woman has until the end of the first trimester to make up her mind about whether or not she should abort. After that, her options are adoption or motherhood and in most cases, adoption should be mandatory because most women who find themselves in the keep-it/kill-it debate are not fit for parenthood and will just be creating more work for child protective services, the welfare office and our legal system. My position on this stands until the American Soceity for Reproductive Medicine comes up with alternative forms of abortion that do not involve unanesthesized poisening, chopping or squashing.
