The reason Metroid is better is that U start out with Shit in both games But right away you Get some helpful Items. In Megaman you gotta beat a boss withyou're Wimpy Ass Shit Cannon (TM) and chances are that you will die because all of the bosses have better weapons than your little shit arm gun (that your arm just turns into! LAME) and twice as much health as you do! I dont see why Megaman is so popular, damnit.
