To be honest, pretty much anything is 'appropriate' here, but if you go into a thread about a special moment in a very well-liked member's life and begin to wee all over it, you're going to get plenty of people that will be very nasty with you over the internet. For example, if Terra had made such a thread, I would have told her that I'd be right there with her at bedside, waiting with a mallet to bop her offspring back into its hole like a carnival game.
