Britney got a tattoo in Hebrew, as an act of devotion to the Kaballah. Only problem is:

1. Tattoos are forbidden in Judaism.

2. Suppsedly the tattoo is gibberish or doesn't mean what she thinks it means, but since I'm not fluent in Hebrew, I can't say.

Do you think it would be appropriate for me as a Jew to stone both her and Madonna to death for turning the Kaballah into an asinine trend?

Isn't Kaballah technically not really Jewish, but modern bullshit? I don't know much about it, just that it's the latest retarded Hollywood religion after Scientology, but I thought I'd read that somewhere.

Well, old in the sense that it dates to the Rabbinical Period, I believe, which is what we goyum call "The Dark Ages." I've always had the impression that Kaballah was considered more or less apocryphal and exclusive to obsessive weirdos.

As far as I am aware, the Kaballah is fairly well respected by Jews, and although it fell out of favor during the Haskalah (Enlightenment) during the 1770s-1880s, it was still practiced by the Orthodox. While it was respected, it was generally considered to the domain of a few really dedicated scholars, until this recent resurgence. Though I admit that I myself am curious about it, and that I think it is good that interest in it has emerged, I am very pissed about celeberties making it look stupid.

the kabalah is only for old jewish men. not women. and tattoos are forbidden in jewish tradition. a jew with a tattoo is not allowed to have a proper jewish funeral and can't be buried in a jewish cemetary or near the family. jews also cannot have piggy meat. the kabalah is pretty much only for jewish men over 40 to study. and it's supposed to be a privelege for them. as a woman or something that has genitals with a long slit you are not allowed to touch it.
