Kefka's SUPPOSED to be a... well, not a faggot. But he's intended to be very flamboyant. He's fucked up. Sephiroth was just an asshole, but Kefka's downright evil. You'll see soon enough.
I'm surprised you went for FF3. RPGs are fairly expensive compared to other older games. If you have a PSX/PS2, you should have gotten FF Anthology.
