If find it ironic that the administration has repreatedly said future terror attacks on the US are inevitable, and now Chenney is saying if we vote Kerry we'll get attacked. If both those statements are to be tken as true, can we take this as a Republican surrender?



"Cheney, in praising Bush's tax cuts, noted that the CBO said this year's projected deficit will be smaller than analysts had expected."

Hey! That could be turned into a great Republican slogan!

"Vote Republican! We still have the biggest defficit ever, but it's not quite as big as we thought it might be!"

Or maybe:

"George W. Bush. Careening downhill slower than you thought he was going to be."

Or

"We've turned the corner and while deficits are still growing, the speed of that growth is not as mind numbing as we were worried it might have been."

Or

"Driving America off a cliff more slowly than previously predicted."
