i'm pretty sure the main reason is that now that she's gone from california to washington, she might as well get rid of the other, more unecessary things associated with it as well.. it's not chojin or james, whom she just didnt like, but it's more of a "why bother"

she's been here for almost FOUR YEARS. any idea about how long that gives this place to turn into a dead pinata by now? movnig on means cutting the rancid stump of something that really shouldnt be relevant anymore.
