Counter-Strike: Source DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS

Yep i have been playing it loads recently, its brilliant imo. I used to play cs shit loads then i just got bored of it but source has made me like it again. I lurrve the office level, it is the most fun out of the lot imo , it just looks so cool when a grenade goes off sending pictures, guns and general debris flying about everywhere.

The guns seem alot better than they used to be, as well as the fact they all look great they seem more balenced and meaty.

In ragards to source tech in general i like it alot, it is alot more subtle than doom3 tech with a much more simple lighting system but the lighting in doom would not work well in large outdoor environments such as HL2/CSS's anyway.
Things such as the way light reflects off walls and how hostages are lit up by light sources make it look fantastic.

And one last thing, the net code of source is amazing, i was playing last night with a ping of 160ms as i was downloading a film and the game was more or less exactly the same, people still died when i shot em and grenades still threw when i er.. threw em.
The engine is going to be a modders dream for sure.
