You can set it so that some kind of alarm type thing goes off when she comes back from being away... just right click on the name, and go down to "alert me when *whoever* is available"... of course, you'll still have to be at your computer to hear the alert, but if you set your volume loud enough, you can go do other things around the house, and just be sure to listen for the noise
