Speaking from experience, if you are smart, you will wait longer than 48 hours. I waited two days, thought I was fine and took little baby puffs. I still got a dry socket. You cannot even imagine such pain. Honest. Do yourself a favor - nic fit and drive everyoine you know insane for three or four days, because the alternative is much, much worse.
