That's not the point, and you know it.

The fact that there is even a question as to whether or not those things belong in their state constitution is absurd, and the pathetic argument against the amendment (supposedly to protect the state from educational taxation) only makes those who opposed the amendment look worse.

I want to take every opportunity I can get to smack down this so-called "morality gap" that exists between "red" and "blue" states. I think any state that would allow their children to remain amongst the poorest and least educated, while at the same time stand up to preserve an institution of racism, is severely lacking in any kind of moral integrity.
