how about some pictures, and a litsting of actual parts. if you can't get into the laptop, we don't even know how big the hard drive is or anything, which are definete necessities for knowing how much it's worth.

i have a vaio, but it's so small that it's really only worth about $1000. it's in great condition, but i put it at that worth cause it's so portable. it's smaller than most textbooks, easily. it's less than an inch thick, and less than a pound.

not that it matters, cause i'm not selling mine.

but really... we need specs. you can go into the bios and find out if you can't get into windows.
