Anybody use Adobe Premiere here? (or know video in general?)

I think so too, but a lot of information is lost that way. Like when you resize a picture and blow it back up again. And the file itself is 4:3, only the original video is squeezed with black bars on each side. This isn't a problem when I record to tape. It's really weird.

EDIT: Crap, Virtualdub can't compress DV AVI anyway, so I'll have to find a way to export it in a different format in Premiere.
