For one I am glad you're child and everyone elses child was unahrmed. i am afraid that Terrorist style tactics have become the new retribution for angst youth. Nothing is freakier than a gun in school, and unfortunately unless you are sending your kid to school with a taser there isnt much to stop the child. The kids involved in todays school jackings are yet to be profiled like islam fundamentalists. Sometimes its just the lil wierdo in the class evryone skickers at, other times it the ADD kid who wears sweatpants. AS a teacher you need to redognize kids at risk and be prepared to ask them questions. Kids will cave...
