Thanks for the feedback. It's really helpful. I'll try that downtown trip you suggested, Helm, and work from there. And yes, the hands in the picture are actually my own. That part took the most work, I think. After I got the character down, I think I just kinda wanted to put a background up to go along with it and hurried a bit too much. Seems that a camera wouldn't be a bad idea for the background shots, either.
