Can anyone recommend headphones that won't break?

The problem is the thin pieces of plastic on the headphones part, that hold the adjustment in place. Those always break on me.

So I'm looking for something that has those in metal, or a thicker plastic.

And the headphones have to have about a 10'-12' cord.
