It's all bullshit though. Childrearing has been going downhill ever since Dr. Ben Spock told people to reason with their offspring rather than to rule them, and the stupid shits said, well sure, we'll try that!

Many years ago, I was married to a preschool teacher who every day would come home with stories about how well behaved her kids were until the parents showed up, at which point a 2 year old would start controlling a 30 year old. Absurd!
