I enjoyed FFVIII more the 2nd and 3rd time through. The first time I played through I was bitching about it too much to really enjoy the game. It didn't live up to VII, that's for sure.

To me, FF9 is one of the the best Final Fantasies. It brought back the "Fixed Class" system we all know and love from FF1, 4, and 6, instead of having a completely customizable party (which I hated), it had a wide range of completely different and totally wacky characters (who DON'T suck), it brought back Moogles in abundance, and it was funny as hell. ("So this must be Garland's haunted mansion.

And just because Kefka is a plain old-fashioned queer, it doesn't mean that Kuja is.
