I thought it sucked quite a bit. It was ok, but it relyed to much on trying to milk emotion from Aerith's death in the game - no one should really care all that much by this point. It wasn't a problem that it used it, it as just that it didn't seem to develop anything new. Also, it was just fight scene after fight scene. With the FF games you develop a story over 60 to 80 hours, but this didn't have that luxury. So we ended up watching the fights instead of playing then and then watching intermittent cut scenes. Not enough to hold my interest. Also, I hate how they brought back every single character. They should have just focused on 4 or 5 of the characters, instead of bring back useless characters like Cid and Yuffie. Yes, people may be fond of them, but their characters added little, if nothing, to the story being told. Disappointing picture.
