Alas, it is so that Oktoberfest in Germany is in September,
but we, in the great state of Washington, have a small Bavarian villiage tucked away up in the mountains. A colorful land of... Leavenworth.
Oktoberfest sucked big time.
They where charging twice as much for normal everyday beer then the local pubs. They didn't even have that many German beers, besides the stuff you can snag at the local stores.
The only cool thing was, as always, the Soup Cellar. Nice little tucked away place.
Who was it who helped tape the dollars in the Dukes of Hazzard to the bar ceiling? Anyway, it was like that, but times a million. Pictures tomarrow.
