The only thing I don't like about most people in the armed forces is that they are completely void of humor and take themselves WAY WAY WAY too fucking seriously. Kate seems like the later at least and I'm inclined to say if I met her I would want to punch her in the face.

Why is it that at a simple job like smelling shit or cooking fries workers can use common sense and rational thought to determine what they should not do when it is obviously an error in judgement? But put human lives on the table and it becomes noble to place all decision making into less collective minds. Now I'm not preaching some fuck-head Ayn-Rand IM MY OWN BOSS thing here mind you. I'm all for obedience. But it seems like Army people preach a hive mentality and thats just about as dumb from an objective perspective. I don't think anyone in the current army should make a big shit about gay rights and directly disobey regulations, I just don't think they should feel they like they have to defend them either. Which is what it semms liek she is doing.

If this whole article is on the other hand, just her going, "I do my job". Then jesus christ what a self-important cunt.

That being said my dad was a Navy Seal for 20 years. So go fuck yourself Kate.
