I often wonder what tips the balance for some people, you know the ones that regard themselves as bi and have relationships or whatever with both sexes and then something happens or they meet someone that just tips the balance and they go either way.

I also wonder how many men out there think they are gay yet eventually find no real satisfaction sleeping with men, how many of them think they are gay because they have never found a woman attractive, until one day they meet one that they have feelings for etc.

I think everyone needs some moment of clarity where they know what gender they prefer. It must be sad for those who never meet someone who makes them happy.

They've just passed a law over here granting gay couples the same legal rights as married couples. There are these people flashing rings and saying "we're married" etc. I don't really know what to think. Has it turned marriage into a piece of paper, a joke? Or has it opened up some bizare system, where people will be leaving their possessions to animals. Promises can be so easily broken nowadays. If these partnership ceremonies are meant to be similar to marriage in regards to legal rights, then will they be taken seriously? Or are they just another piece of paper, another statistic to be created?
