Favorite boss battles

pretty much any boss from sonic, zelda, contra, metorid, shinobe, castlevania, resident evil, metal gear solid, or final fantasy games.
or for that matter pretty much any good video game that was made in japan comes with well thought out boss battles.
Its really hard to pick a favorite, boss battles are one of the reasons I still play single player games when most gamers nowadays seem to only play online muiltiplayer games.
Nothing beats a good boss battle, nothing.
