Pat Robertson did not win the nomination of the Republican Party, so he has never been a Republican representative in any sense of the word.
Certainly the Christian Right voted for Pres. Bush, just as the vegans and other shady characters casted their college-age votes for Kerry, but this makes neither an honest and complete representation of the party.
