i think the antagonistic "black music versus rock music" tack that they're loosely alluding to just to sell records is more disturbing than a particularly bad motivational line.

that, and creating a useless rivalry based on sales rather than talent. using the same kind of hopeless saps that fell for evanescence to write "NE-YO SUCKKKKKKS THAT IS *NOT* MUSIC LOL" all over the internet.

and also that they write rock like "ROCK" as if to cast off this completely unreasonable assumption that they are the largest vagina-band with a myspace.
