I hate anime because the plot of nearly every anime I've ever seen involves an intense power struggle between two opposing parties who seem to be good or evil just for the sake of being good or evil. Heroes in animes are rarely ethical except when it's convenient. And often, the heroes are represented as incompetent doofuses who seem to have become heroes through pure occurrance of circumstance (Goku, Naruto and the hero from Trigun are perfect examples.)

What does anime tell children? That you can be a fuckup and still be the hero. Fuck you, anime.
