strike me off the happy list.
i broke my tail bone in two places when i stepped on sheet rock in my attic and fell twelve feet onto concrete. i was 16, and i don't recall any sound, but i still can remember the embarassment of being braless when the emt guys got there. and i still can feel the ache sometimes when it rains.
and the summer after fifth grade, i fell on my arm at summer camp in the sand while playing war. i wore a cast until a couple of days before cheerleading tryouts, when (since my doctor was out of town), i sawed my cast off so i could practice my cartwheels.
