Well, then... try this one:

The book was a product of the original article by the same name. I'm sure you'd get a better understanding of the subject matter reading the actual book, but you wanted an article, right?

I suppose I could find you the Cliff Notes for "The Lexus and the Olive Tree," but I don't want to be responsible for the dumbing down of your life. When I read your theories, speaking as a person that is at least a little knowledgeable about globalization and it's effect on governments (yes even ours,) it strikes me as pretty comical that you'd believe what you do. Real Life isn't as stragihtforward as Lex Luthor vs. Superman.

Maybe you should try cracking a few books. Quit relying on partisans with agendas to distill the world down for you... and that includes partisans from the left, right and middle. You seem so addicted to spin that you've started to see the world as a fantasy, where anything is possible.

It's entertaining, don't get me wrong... but you're wasting an incredible amount of energy fulfilling someone else's goals. Spend at least a little time each day looking for the actual truth, even if that means you have to look somewhere else than Aljazeera feeds on your little palm thingy. You won't be finding any more truth there than you would watching Fox News or CNN.

Our presidents don't run our country. The Bush Administration could not do what you think it has, and it could not even begin to implement the plans you are so convinced it has. President's come and go, but the real government is run by folks that have been there a long time (and more and more Wall Street.) Sure, there is more truth to be found than your average person will find on the local ACTION news distillery, but with all your effort toward that end, you haven't even managed to come close.

mburbank~ Yes, okay, fine, I do know what you meant, but why is it not possible for you to get through a paragraph without making all the words cry?

How can someone who obviously thinks so much of their ideas have so little respect for expressing them? How can someone who so yearns to be taken seriously make so little effort?!
