The solution where he develops good parenting skills and his kid doesn't end up being a little jerk, I guess :O

It has nothing to do with their personalities(I'm assuming yo u're talking about the babies "Personality"), personalities are formed around interaction with the family and enviroment, although there may be a few "individual" factors. It's also literally impossible to raise two children exactly the same way unless they are twins and born at the same time.

I don't really think it matters so much who his parents are but the type of enviroment his family creates, together, and the type of interaction the family has with the baby.

Growing up doesn't grant maturity nor parenting skills :O
