Holy shit whats happening to my town?

I can think of at least two occasions of hearing gunshots while walking around Hyde Park (Chicago, lol to the idea of that happening in the London one), and another while sitting in my car in Indianapolis. OMG THE END IS NIGH. Actually, with one in Hyde Park I looked around to see if there was anyone dying that I could help and I didn't see anything. This was before I had a mobile cellular telephone, of course.

There was a murder-suicide when I was in middle school in the town I lived near. It had maybe 2000 residents. Shit happens, dude. When a forensic psychologist told me that the murder I almost carried out would have made national headlines, I was like "woah". But then I realized, no, it wouldn't. Evil is everywhere and everywhen, maybe it's a good thing you're not already used to it.
