Being a big comic fan, I'd say he was trying to be edgy and it backfired on him. Thousands of comedians do edgy material, it just depends on the audience you are preforming for. As George Carlin taught us, comedy isn't based on content, its based on context. Seriously, the same week this happened, Borat is the best movie ever and the best jokes in the movie have jews laying eggs and changing into cockroaches. WTF? Context.
Fuck it, its ALL funny, or NONE of it is funny. Special treatment for no one.
