i hear you glowbelly i'm ready to camp out behind a horse my poor teeth just refuse to stop falling apart slowly and gracelessly
the dentist may be right on principle but he doesn't have your teeth in his head, it sounds like he's simply going by the book, i reckon telling him to remove teeth altogether sets off his alarm similar to a doctor being told "i want to die" by a patient (haha it also sets off his wallet haha)
as for what you should do, it's really hard to say, i'd be uncertain going the denture (or partial) route but there are times i'd really rather have it that simple
