In my very white very Protestant hometown, Seth was considered a rare and exotic name. Then I went to college and all the girlies would tell me about their stupid ex-boyfriends named Seth because everyone is Hebrew in academia. Now Seth is like an ultra-vogue name and I wish I were special again.
