What do I do? It's actually similar to what you do in that it also involves the sea but it's pretty different. I'm a part-time crewmember on a fishing and crabbing boat off the Aleutian islands in Alaska (part-time because no one is full-time if they like staying alive). Doesn't sound like much but it's probably the hardest job in the world especially during snow king crab season because everyone is frozen, sleep deprived and fighting over the same zone and the weather isn't exactly user-friendly. And the rest of the time I work construction and wish my college education was worth more than a piss in a stiff wind.

Unlike you I don't talk about my job all the time and act like I'm a fuckin navy seal, but you asked so there it is. Seems to me that all your letters-home type posts would mean a lot more if you weren't actually STILL AT HOME.
