How big of a problem is it?

I don't know about you, but my campus had a thriving Muslim Student Association. The only groups that were EVER the victims of racial and/or religious discrimination were groups like Hillel (swastika on the office door).

You sniffed around for a story like this, and would like to inflate it into something it isn't. Discrimination and violence will happen on college campuses, it happens all of the time.

Deaf students felt like they were being discriminated against at Gallaudet U. last year, and they shut the place down until they got what they wanted.

Stupid people do stupid things, and hopefully, get punished for discrimination and/or violence.

But you chose this particular story because of the victims, not because of some pending epidemic on college campuses. So what the hell was the point?
